SCCF Board Members, Committees, Constitution and Bylaws

The SCCF is governed by a 12-member board that plans, initiates, and sponsors chess activities in the Southern California region. Elections are held during the annual meeting coincident with the Southern California Open Championship over Labor Day Weekend. Members of the board are elected by the SCCF membership, and in turn the board members elect the officers themselves. The members of the board come from all over southern California. Most of our members will find somebody on our board who is local to them, and with whom they can communicate to raise any issue of interest to Southern California chess, and the business of the SCCF. Of course, anyone, member or not, is welcome to make suggestions or inquiries.
