The SCCF publishes the bimonthly magazine Rank &File, which offers games, tournament reports, instructional articles, and much other material of local and regional interest. Advertsising rates may be found here.

If you play chess in Southern California, then you want to be a part of the SCCF and its activities. We survive on the volunteerism of our members, but our members benefit through an active and interesting schedule of events. If you are not a member of the SCCF, you should be.

Membership in the SCCF is $18 per year for Adults and $10 per year for juniors (under 19), and includes a subscription to the bimonthly Rank & File. To join, please send dues to Membership Secretary Randy Hough, PO Box 205, Monterey Park, CA, 91754, or click on the link above.
